Wheel cut reverse painted mirrored wall sconces with electric candle sockets manufactured by The Sterling Bronze Company of New York, NY. Sconces retain their original paper labels on the backside. Original cast brass mounting hooks are included. Each sconce features a bird standing in a pot of flowers.
One bird looks to the left and one looks to the right. Each sconce also has a butterfly sitting on one of the flowers. Like the birds, one butterfly looks each direction. Wheel cut mirror panels are banded around the perimeter and mounted on wood panels for structural integrity. No chips or cracks in the glass.
Gold finish is missing in areas around the perimeter of each wood backing plate. One fixture has a hole drilled in the bottom edge for wiring to exit.
One fixture is missing both pull chains used to turn the HUBBELL candelabra sockets on. The sockets missing the pull chains are also missing the screws that hold the decorative socket covers together.
Each sconce is approximately 15" tall x 10 1/2" wide. Fixtures project approximately 4 1/2 from the wall. I do have a third sconce that is intact and a fourth sconce with a broken mirrored panel. They are not included in the listing, but are available.Additional pictures and measurements available upon request.
